The Finish Line

The Finish Line
Sometimes you may never cross the finish line the way you anticipated. I’ve often said, “It’s not who crosses the finish line first but how you cross it. What barriers did you overcome to run the same race?” Sometimes when you get there, it’s not where you want to go but it’s just part of a journey that makes you who you are. You prove to yourself and other people that you, too, are capable of some amazing fetes.  The race continues.
Your destination verifies to everyone that believed in you, anything is possible. You can be a great “difference maker.” Along the race, you combined sprints, hurdles, shotputs, long jumps, pole vaulting, and most importantly you participated in relay events with your team.  So, keep running that marathon, pass the baton, and allow the baton to be passed to you.
You always have those days that question your decisions. It’s 7AM, and I already made about twenty choices. I will never know the outcomes of the ones I didn’t take. I promise you, I will make the most of the ones I did make. Thank goodness, it’s early. It’s only Tuesday, and I have thousands of more choices ahead of me this week.

Peace.
