Teaching Is A Great Learning Tool!

If you're not teaching, you're not learning.

One of my goals every year was to teach at least one lesson to every student in our school. If every CEO, supervisor, principal, or superintendent had that goal, our future role models would not be Barbie, cartoon characters that live under water, or a truck that folds out into a robot. Our role models would be parents, educators, and inspire-ers of inspire-ers! Not only should parents and teachers emulate character and inspiration but when peers show each other the way, beautiful things happen.

“Dr. R., ... We have learned so much from you, and I will continue to pass on what I’ve learned. ……. I hope you continue to share your knowledge and experiences.”

“SMILE! YOU ARE AWESOME. BE NICE. HONK IF YOU’RE HAPPY. Words can’t express the gratitude and happiness we feel in our hearts when we think about what you brought and have given our son’s middle school experience. Middle school is such a critical time in development and the foundation that you created through Renaissance and leadership will be carried by our son throughout his life. Please know that you’ve made a difference. We see it. He is living it. Paraphrasing Winnie the Pooh, ‘How lucky are we to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.’”

Things to think about:

Great teaching engages everyone.
