Year 8 - On the
way to work today, I bought a stranger behind me a cup of coffee. She
apologized. Some people just don’t expect kindness. Let’s change their
paradigm.
Several
of our staffulty gave a presentation about leadership to a major energy
company. Here’s what they had to say:
Nancy,
I have a break and I am thinking about the
presentation and how it went. Please let me know.
Ed
It was great!!! Everyone got something out of it. I
asked Frank if he would come back and he agreed. …..It was so inspirational.
Nancy (Exelon Corp.)
Frank,
Thank you! Your fire and passion for the good of the
students is an inspiration to me. There are not many days that I get back late
from a run and not see your car still there. You do so much for our school so
thank you, again. The science fair was great but now the work really begins- to
find the Real American Idol!!

A Teacher
Dear Tom (superintendent),
I worked at the middle and high school levels for
ten years and have visited many school districts throughout the state of New
Jersey. I can say unequivocally that I found Belhaven Middle School to be a
standout school of excellence in more ways than one. From the first time I walked
into Belhaven, I witnessed staff of all titles working, socializing, and
collaborating together in an effort to achieve their goals as a school of
excellence.
Although Dr. Frank Rudnesky will say the atmosphere
I speak of is a result of a great staff, I say it is outcome of a great leader.
Dr. Rudnesky has portrayed these qualities as I observed him commending
students for doing the right thing, sharing, and praisinf teachers’ talents and
caring enough to take time from his busy day to speak with future teachers at
Stockton this past semester.
My students are very fortunate to have had the
opportunities to learn from Dr. Rudnesky and your staff at Belhaven.
With Sincerity and Respect,
KM

Frank,
I want to say
thank you for all that you have done to help me succeed my first year at
Belhaven. Your positive attitude made me feel welcomed since the first day of
school. I appreciate all of the times that you met with me throughout the year.
I look forward to coming to work every day, and I am so excited for the
Renaissance Conference this summer. Thank you for all you do!
Jill
Frank,
We at Jostens Renaissance are humbled by what you
are doing. We feel very privledged to count you and Belhaven as members of the
Jostens renaissance family. I can’t begin to tell you how much I wish my kids were students at
Belhaven. You are doing so much more than providing e education. You’re
instilling values and teaching life lessons that we can only hope that our children
learn. Again, congratulations- you are truly awesome!

Hi Dr. R.
Today, one of our kids looked at my wall and with
eyes wide opened said, “WOW! You have so many awards.” She didn’t realize that
there are so many rewards I have in my heart and have changed who I am because
I work here.
Thank you for the opportunity.
E.
Dear Frank,
Thank you so much for making me feel special and
appreciated at yesterday’s staffulty meeting. It really means a lot when your
leader takes the time to learn about you personally. You have a special talent
in making people feel good about themselves and want to do more for themselves
and others. I love it here!

Dear Dr. R.,
Wow! My Belhaven
career is finally over. Throughout Belhaven, I have learned tons of things,
academic and Renaissance. I am looking forward to high school but I will miss
Belhaven. Thank you for all the help over these 4 years. I will never forget
Belhaven.
I now have my
goals written down. The biggest to meet you at the Banquet in 4 years.
D.
Hey Frank,
You have helped
me realize one important thing within myself that before I was not aware… I
have to be with people that let me grow.--spiritually, mentally and
emotionally. Thank you for the opportunities you have created for me to become
a better person and most importantly for believing I could. What clams the
heart is when our leader is storing and has integrity that you have.. you are gifted
with the ability to see the possible.
E.
Frank,
RE: Ruby Bridges
What an amazing person! The strength of her faith,
even as a child was truly inspiring. In my definition of Renaissance, this is
what it is all about. The fight for the rights of all students and the
opportunity to gain a good education. Character and academics- perfect
together!
Thank you for all you do,
Robert
Dr. R.,
Happy Holidays! We just wanted to let you know that
in the season of giving and rebirth and resolution we wanted to say thank you
for giving to our school every day and making it a better place. For giving us
each a chance to start over each day when we come to school. and for creating
your own resolutions that impact our school and inspire us. You are such a
great principal as well as a role model in our school. thank you
